Compliance Coordinator Office Medicaid Innovation Sponsorship for Work authorization is not available for this position Job SummaryThe Compliance Coordinator, part of the OMI Operations Team and working in close collaboration with Unit Leadership, is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining internal audit policies and procedures related to the administration of the Project Orders (amendments) to the Interagency Agreement between Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) and the University of Illinois. The Compliance Coordinator will also ensure complete, accurate and timely audit information is reported to key stakeholders. The Compliance Coordinator will collaborate with the Operations Team to identify, facilitate, and coordinate strategic partnerships and establish necessary resources required to ensure compliance of all OMI projects, goals, and objectives. Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) is Illinois' single state Medicaid agency and the state organization responsible for administering Illinois' Medical Assistance and Child Support programs. Minimum Qualifications A total of two 2 years (24months) in education, training and/or work experience in Public Administration, Public Health, or related field. (Note: Master's Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience.) Experience working within the health/regulatory environment. Demonstrated experience in health care policy and/or data management.
Appointment Information This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 5002 - Program Coordinator position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible. The budgeted salary range for the position is $70,000 to $85,000. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
