Description and Requirements

We are looking for a Finance DT Associate Specialist to join the Finance Digital Transformation team. This role will support Lenovo's AI-native transformation by contributing to finance AI application prototyping, workflow automation, process re-imagination, and cross-functional solution delivery.

The role is designed for early-career talent with strong learning agility, hands-on problem-solving capability, technical curiosity, and interest in finance process transformation. The candidate will work closely with Finance, DT, IT, data, AI, and product teams to help translate finance business problems into digital solutions, AI-enabled prototypes, and future-state process designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, testing, and iteration of AI-driven finance applications, workflow automation tools, and digital solution prototypes.
  • Assist in API integration, data processing, basic application development, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Analyze finance processes, identify pain points, document current-state and future-state workflows, and support automation opportunity assessment.
  • Translate finance user needs into structured business requirements, user stories, process maps, and solution design inputs.
  • Learn and apply AI-native technologies such as LLM, RAG, agentic workflow, Python, FastAPI, APIs, LangChain / LangGraph, MCP, CI/CD, and GitHub Actions where relevant.
  • Collaborate with Finance, DT, IT, data, AI, product, and change teams to support end-to-end delivery from problem framing to prototype, deployment, adoption, and benefit tracking.
  • Contribute to project documentation, knowledge sharing, reusable templates, and continuous improvement within the Finance DT team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Management Science, or a related field.
  • Early-career candidates are welcome; internship, campus project, graduation project, or personal project experience in application development, automation, AI, data analytics, or process improvement is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Python.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, databases, application development, data processing, automation, or system integration.
  • Strong interest in Finance Digital Transformation, AI/ML, LLM, RAG, workflow automation, and enterprise process optimization.
  • Ability to understand finance business scenarios, analyze process pain points, and communicate ideas clearly through documents, diagrams, tables, or presentations.
  • Strong learning agility, logical thinking, hands-on attitude, ownership, and willingness to work in a cross-functional environment.
  • Good communication skills in both Chinese and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Python, SQL, FastAPI, Git, Power Platform, Power BI, RPA, workflow automation, cloud tools, or DevOps practices.
  • Exposure to GenAI, LLM, RAG, chatbot, agent workflow, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar technologies.
  • Basic understanding of finance processes such as accounting, reporting, costing, budgeting, forecasting, service finance, tax, treasury, or contract accounting.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, process mining tools, ERP processes, or finance reporting platforms is a plus.
  • Experience in business analysis, user research, process mapping, requirement documentation, workshop support, dashboard creation, or automation solution design is a plus.
