DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position plays a key role in managing inventory, shipping tasks, and distribution of materials and clothing for staff across the Commonwealth. It supports the smooth flow of supplies, uniform items, and license materials that help staff perform their duties effectively. As a Stock Clerk 3, you will perform the following duties:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels for clothing, supplies, and equipment used by field staff and other employees
- Order Processing: Receive inventory, verify packing lists and purchase orders, and add new items into the database
- Shipping Tasks: Pick, pack, and ship materials and clothing to Harrisburg Headquarters, regional offices, and field personnel
- UPS Coordination: Handle UPS shipments, prepare labels, track packages, and resolve missing package issues
- Equipment Support: Operate warehouse systems, respond to resource account requests, and assist with asset labeling and verification
- Engraving Work: Use a Vision engraving machine to create name tags and signage for staff across the agency

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 45-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of experience in stores control work, including one year of experience with responsibility for the operation of a small storeroom; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a high school or vocational school; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirement:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
