About the Role:

As a Transportation Driver at Avantara Groton, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to safely transport guests to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other destinations, while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a comfortable and safe ride. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our vehicles, as well as performing routine vehicle checks to ensure they are in good working condition.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport guests to and from medical appointments and therapy sessions

• Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, including assisting with needs such as wheelchair use, mobility aids, and oxygen management

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our vehicles

• Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure they are in good working condition

• Maintain accurate records of transportation services provided

• Collaborate with care team members to ensure guest needs are met

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with wheelchairs and other mobility aids

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent required
