Food & Beverage Food Runner
Overview:
The Food Runner role is dedicated to providing quality service that exceeds Guest and Member expectations work to create guests for life, by proactively embracing service standards, adhering to safety regulations and gaining the knowledge to assist guests with any and all needs.
Responsibilities:
* Bring food from the kitchen to tables to support the servers.
* Assist servers during meal period.
* Must have knowledge of all menu items.
* Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner.
* Assist the server with pre busing of plates.
* Assisting servers in any capacity to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Inquire if additional service is needed from guests upon delivery and inform the server or manager.
* Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisor or management.
Qualifications:
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
* Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
* Must have strong communications skills
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be able to multitask.
* Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
* Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance.
* Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Must have Food Handlers and ServSafe Alcohol Certification.
