The Support Coordinator for the UMSL Teach in Residency (TIR) Alternative Certification Pathway serves as the primary point of contact for current and prospective participants throughout the certification process. This position provides comprehensive guidance, advising, and administrative support to ensure participants successfully navigate program requirements, maintain certification compliance, and progress toward teacher certification. The Support Coordinator works closely with university personnel, school district partners, and state certification agencies to support participant success and program effectiveness. 40 hours weekly Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Experience in educator preparation, teacher certification, higher education, or K-12 education. Knowledge of Missouri educator certification requirements and processes. Experience advising, mentoring, or supporting adult learners. Familiarity with data tracking, compliance monitoring, and program coordination. Anticipated Hiring Range
$19.25 - $27.40 Grade: GGS-008 Application Materials
