Reporting to the World Account Manager, as the Regional Account Manager you will provide technical expertise to use our capabilities to achieve sales goals and meet customer needs in the region. You will identify appropriate customer projects, develop new business opportunities, and inspire creativity by enhancing collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Sales, and Marketing.

This is a home-based/remote position. We have a preference for a resource located on the East Coast, specifically in the greater NYC area, to be onsite with your customer as warranted. Alternatively, we can also entertain a resource located in the Midwest, specifically in Cincinnati, to be onsite with our technical and marketing teams, as warranted.

  • Commercial Leadership Demonstrate your leadership styles that deploy an initiative-taking approach for technical solutions to customer issues. Implement the account strategy and develop a solid value chain experience. Build, communicate, review, and monitor strategic plans, sales, profit forecasts, and budget. Grow Givaudan business with regional responsibility. Ensure we are a supplier of choice to participate in the customer's core list and targeted briefs.
  • Customer Influence Develop an understanding of the customer's organization, including main decision makers, and develop relationships with multiple levels of management across the customer. Establish and maintain relationships throughout the company internally to ensure achievement of best results while working as a cohesive team. Increase level of expertise in area of specialization to expand Givaudan's technical leadership position.
  • Team Partner Be knowledgeable about different product applications and equipment used in the processing of customers' products. Relay customer expectations to R&D for successful project completion with prototype development that meets the customer's criteria. Maintain an understanding of new ingredient/flavor technology. Demonstrate influence to persuade others in a collaborative environment.

You?

  • University degree in applicable discipline. Advanced Degree helpful
  • 10+ years' major account management experience
  • Experience working with large CPG companies, across categories, brands, and geographies.
  • Experience facilitating senior strategic relationships between customer/customer decision-makers at assigned accounts.
  • Experience leading and motivating a high-achieving team.

Education and experience partly determine Job Title and Base Salary, and our compensation program guidelines determine them. Target pay is $140 - $190. Annual bonus.
