GAI Consultants is hiring a Water/Wastewater Project Manager for its Florida Water Division in Jacksonville. You will manage municipal water and wastewater projects from planning through construction and start-up, then grow into a leadership role as the division expands.

What You'll Do

• Lead teams on collection, conveyance, distribution, pump station, storage, treatment, and pipeline renewal projects
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, safety, QA/QC, profitability, and staff workload
• Oversee design, specifications, permitting, bidding, and construction documents
• Lead flow projections, hydraulic modeling, master planning, alternatives analysis, cost estimating, and CIP development
• Mentor junior staff
• Serve as a seller-doer: find opportunities, write proposals, and present to clients

Required Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• 12+ years of municipal water/wastewater experience
• 2+ years as a Project Manager leading multidisciplinary teams on time and on budget
• Strong technical writing, communication, and leadership skills
• Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Revit, ArcGIS, and InfoWater or SewerGEMS

Preferred

• 3+ years as engineer of record on water or wastewater projects
• Trenchless pipeline, condition assessment, and 3D utility modeling experience
• Design-Build, CMAR, or Design Criteria Professional delivery experience
• Cross-market project experience
• Client and business development experience in North Florida
