Summary The Clean Energy Partnerships Specialist is an externally focused role responsible for strengthening NYPA's clean energy outreach, engagement, and partnership development efforts. This position centers on stakeholder engagement, CRM workflow management, and technical outreach. Working across NYPA's Renewables and Nuclear teams, this position supports the development of capability briefs, fact sheets, opportunity assessments, and other collateral, ensuring NYPA's clean energy strategies are communicated clearly to industry, community, and government partners. The role also tracks outreach performance, analyzes engagement data, and supports stakeholder engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, comfort with CRM and digital engagement tools, and a drive to contribute to NYPA's mission of advancing a cleaner, more resilient energy future for New York. #LI-CJ1 Responsibilities Assist in the development, design and implementation of technically informed marketing strategies that align with overall business goals and brand positioning Monitor and track lead engagement and outreach performance across marketing campaigns and events, ensuring data accuracy and updating lead statuses Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs Evaluate outreach performance and recommend datadriven improvements using quantitative analytics and CRM insights Maintain, refine, and analyze Customer Relationship Management (CRM) workflows, ensuring high quality data management, segmentation logic, and performance dashboards Translate market data into clear external facing materials including capability briefs, fact sheets, opportunity assessments, and presentations Develop high quality engagement collateral that communicates complex energy concepts Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic and team-oriented environment Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Power Point Strong knowledge of marketing, business development fundamentals and experience applying them in a technical or energy-sector environment Familiarity with clean energy technologies (nuclear, renewables, storage) and policy drivers shaping New York's clean energy markets Proficiency in CRM platforms and data analytics with the ability to build and interpret performance dashboards and segmentation logic Ability to synthesize technical information and communicate in clear, concise formats to external audiences Strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and comfort working with quantitative data, energy metrics and market analyses Education, Experience and Certifications Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Communications, Business or relevant field Minimum 4 years' experience working preferred CRM experience strongly preferred Experience with marketing, technical communications, business development or related energy-sector work preferred Experience with renewable energy, public-power environment or tech start-ups strongly preferred Physical Requirements Approximate travel: 25% The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The estimated salary range for this position is: $106,000-$146,300. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
