We are currently seeking a professional, innovative, and detail-oriented Finance Analyst II to support the Finance Department. This is a fully remote position that can be located anywhere in the USA. This is a temporary position and is estimated to last one year.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Under limited supervision, the Financial Analyst collects and evaluates data from various organizational units to develop recommendations and support key deliverables, including financial plans and analyses. This role provides business leaders with financial forecasts and insights to inform both short- and long-term decision-making.

Additionally, the Financial Analyst offers support, development, and leadership guidance to volunteers, helping to ensure alignment with organizational goals and effective program execution.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD:

  • Manage project priorities and deliverables across multiple initiatives, balancing speed, quality, and stakeholder needs
  • Conduct and document moderately complex financial analysis projects.
  • Interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control.
  • Provide regular revenue and/or expense analyses and reports.
  • Provide analysis to determine present and future performance.
  • Support the development and maintenance of financial policies, procedures, and systems.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:(Qualifications)

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Management Experience: N/A
Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of applicable principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Basic proficiency in the use of a personal computer, word-processing, spreadsheet applications, and database applications when applicable. Ability to work on a team.
Travel: May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout the Red Cross system.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU THE COMPETITIVE EDGE:

  • Strong technical skills with working knowledge of Power BI.
  • Team player with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Red Cross experience is a plus.

SALARY INFORMATION:

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000

Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned with the geographic location where the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, the number of years of experience you have, and comparisons to other employees already in this role.
