Designs, specify and/or develop technical specifications for configuration, repair, operation and maintenance of airplanes, engines and components, and their associated systems and equipment.

Essential Functions

  • Evaluates service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and other manufacturers data to ensure compliance with FedEx fleet standards and recommends corrective actions to mitigate delays and cancellations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering.

Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.

Good analytical, communication and technical writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Engineer the future of flight data at FedEx. Aircraft Engineering seeks an aggressively curious entry-level Computer or Electrical Engineer to transform 3rd/4th gen aircraft into data-centric platforms rivaling 5th gen aircraft. You will leverage IoT and onboard computing for predictive maintenance and safety. Exposure to or an interest in system interfaces, IoT integration, or software (C++/Python) is a plus, but a passion for learning is essential
