The Financial Analyst II position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with senior analysts while contributing to critical accounting and financial initiatives. Role Overview Partner with senior analysts to support the month end close process Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and General Ledger activity Support business focused financial operations, including real estate functions Maintain and analyze financial data used for internal reporting and decision making Develop and manage Excel based schedules, trackers, and analytical models Assist with reconciliations and variance analysis during close cycles Respond to ad hoc financial requests from business partners Support process improvements related to accounting and reporting workflows Collaborate closely with more senior analysts to ensure accurate financial outcomes Key Qualifications Experience in accounting, financial analysis, or related roles Experience supporting month end close, accruals, and General Ledger activities Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Accounting background strongly preferred Experience supporting business operations or real estate finance is a plus Core Skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills High attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to work effectively within a team environment Clear communication with finance and non finance partners Strong organizational skills and ability to manage recurring deadlines Additional Information: Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday Location: Hybrid - Predominantly remote with flexibility to come on site as needed Reporting To Finance Manager, Division of Finance Helpful Links: Compensation Philosophy Benefits Pay Range: $83,800.00 - $134,000.00 FSLA Status: Exempt Closing: At MSK, we believe in fair, competitive pay that reflects your job, experience, and skills.
