Position Description:
Lead and oversee concurrent marketing and communications programs and manage sales pursuits. Work with business unit leadership to support external relationships in support of visibility and long-term marketplace viability and success.

Reports to: Marketing Director, General Manager

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage concurrent marketing and communication programs, proposals, and presentations working in collaboration with senior management to define measurable results.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to define capture-planning process utilizing industry knowledge and understanding of client viewpoints for marketing approach and generate custom print and digital content for each client.
  • Work with Regional Marketing Director to maintain brand standards compliance.
  • Oversee and manage marketing collateral quality reviews for coherence, completeness, compliance, consistency, and correctness.
  • Leverage understanding of unique value propositions of company business operations to challenge status quo and continuously improve marketing approach.
  • Develop business analytics to enhance value propositions and opportunities for BU growth; present findings to senior management to establish marketing and sales plans.
  • Lead and structure primary and secondary market research to identify emerging trends, concepts, approaches, and technologies.
  • Leverage external and internal professional resources network to obtain information in support of strategic marketing programs.
  • Manage development of marketing content and deployment plans.
  • Provide strategic and creative direction for multi-media projects including generating memorable key messages, data soundbites, and B-roll footage.
  • Implement public relations and social media strategies to ensure real-time publication of content, including announcements, awards, events, and crisis.
  • Manage marketing program and document progress on projects and in correlation to company success.
  • Plan and execute multiple events, develop event theme and messaging, identify attendees, and execute and review all post-event activities including surveys, financial reconciliations, and ROI studies.
  • Manage department budget, contracts seeking best value, material costs, and other resources including vendors.
  • Participate in organizational change initiatives to support common company communication platforms.
  • Keep current in marketing tools and trends to offer innovative marketing design and process solutions.
  • Maintain active participation in relevant professional associations.
  • Provide project updates to Marketing team, provide direction and balance team workload, and understand employee capabilities to identify opportunities for continuous learning.
  • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

The salary range for this position is estimated to be 120,000.00 - 165,000.00 USD annualized.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required, and minimum of 6 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; advanced degree or equivalent marketing certification, a plus
  • Architecture, Engineering, Construction or other business to business professional service industry experience
  • Understand impact of economic, business, and social issues and trends facing company, industry, and clients
  • Advanced application of marketing and construction business acumen and business operations
  • Leverage critical business thinking to impact business planning, operations, financial performance, and risk
  • Excellent writer with highly strategic approach to messaging
  • Exceptional professional presentation skills, aptly tailors and delivers communications to various audiences
  • Interpersonal and team building skills with ability to work across department levels
  • Extensive experience in brand management, design, content development, and digital production processes
  • Comprehensive research and technical skills to generate creative solutions to show, promote, and sell services
  • In-depth experience of Request for Proposal/Qualifications (RFP/RFQ) response processes, quality, legal, and regulatory requirements
  • Management experience, able to delegate, coordinate work of others, monitor performance, and deliver feedback
  • Excellent project management experience; able to multitask and prioritize competing demands for self and teams in deadline-driven and environment
  • Diplomatic approach to problem solving, uses active listening to completely understand target audience needs with ability to exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive topics
  • Ability to develop marketing standards and practices and maintain quality control processes
  • Ability to establish and manage budgets and contracts
  • Ability to influence and negotiate stakeholders
  • Analytical skills to solve problems and make complex decisions and adhere to business policies and guidelines
  • Champion of continuous improvement with growth mindset; with ability to listen to ideas, options and opinions of others
  • Active participation in relevant professional industry organizations (e.g., SMPS, PWC, NAWIC)
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office suite of applications, and Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Familiar with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Power BI, PowerApps, Flow), and CRM applications, a plus
  • Travel regionally as needed
