The Defense Sector at Leidos is seeking an early career Project Coordinator to join our team at Wrner Robins Air Force Base, GA. Are you an administrative enthusiast with a passion for ensuring the seamless operation of a diverse team across 3 uniquely different customers and workload? Our ideal candidate is a reliable admin professional, adept at handling multiple priorities with excellent coping skills. Whether working independently or collaboratively, you're customer and team focused. Although this role is 75% remote, candidates located in the Warner Robins, GA area are strongly preferred. There will be up to 25% travel to the customer site on Warner Robins Air Force Base that will be required.

In this role, you will support the Program Manager with administrative support for 3 programs and provide comprehensive support to our operational team. You will facilitate daily operations, manage communications, and assist with staff work and logistical coordination.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain complex executive schedules, calendars, and appointments.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Assist processing travel requests, documentation, gaining approvals, and update the travel log and travel budgets.
  • Process and track travel arrangements, itineraries, and expense reports.
  • Draft, review, and format correspondence, memorandums, briefings, and reports in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Assist with on-time delivery of all program management CDRLs
  • Organize internal and external meetings, including logistics, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
  • Organize stakeholder meetings, document action items and meeting minutes, and communicate with stakeholders, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 or more years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or executive support role.
  • Possession of an active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Proficiency in standard office software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Quals:

  • Previous administrative experience in a similar sized organization.
  • Prior experience working for the Department of War, Air Force or as a government contractor.
  • Experience using the Tongue and Quill.
  • Previous experience using the Defense Travel System (DTS) or Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Administrative Professional (CAP).
  • Experience using project management software to track tasks and milestones for larger teams.
