DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES



  • Innovate and develop test automation frameworks, QA tools, and supporting systems to improve product quality and testing efficiency
  • Design test strategies and test plans to ensure features and products are released with a consistently high quality bar
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage across key areas such as performance testing, compatibility testing, regression testing, functional testing, and other critical quality dimensions
  • Work with productivity and development tools such as Jira, Git, and TeamCity
  • Perform risk assessments to identify critical code paths and develop corresponding automated test cases
  • Implement test automation using multiple programming languages
  • Identify defects, document them clearly, and drive them through resolution and verification


SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS



  • Experience and/or knowledge of Quality Assurance, test methodologies, and testing strategies
  • Strong knowledge of debugging fundamentals, debugging workflows, and debuggers (LLDB, GDB, DAP)
  • Strong programming skills, primarily in C/C++ and C# with additional experience in Python and PowerShell
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio IDE
  • Experience testing debuggers and/or IDE extensions
  • Experience with source control tools such as Git or Perforce
  • Experience working with system APIs, commandline tooling, or platformlevel interfaces
  • Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines; TeamCity is a plus
  • Experience working and testing in cross-platform environments
  • Ability to develop test designs that can respond to quickly shifting requirements
  • Ability to review and provide feedback to peer code
  • Strong communication skills for regular collaboration with the development team to drive testability
  • Familiarity with operating system fundamentals such as processes, threading, memory management, and performance characteristics
  • Knowledge of Linux environments, systemlevel concepts, and lowlevel debugging is a plus
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent


Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.

This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

$120,900 $217,650 USD
