Product Manager, Cost Management - Financial Platform

Procore
United States, Texas, Austin
221 West 6th Street (Show on map)
May 13, 2026

As a Product Manager you have a solid background in product management, are comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders, and can balance competing priorities with ease. You have proven experience digging into customer problems, distilling them into needs, and envisioning the best solutions to meet and exceed them. If you can operate with a high degree of autonomy, have strong leadership skills, and are great at driving alignment, we'd like to hear from you!

The construction vertical is ripe for technological innovation. Construction impacts the lives of nearly everyone in the world, and yet it's one of the least digitized industries. Procore is leading the market with our SaaS construction platform. We build for real people with real experiences, empowering Groundbreakers to develop and transform the communities we all live in.

This position will report to the Group Product Manager for Cost Management and is based in our Austin, TX office. We're looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with UX, Engineering, and GTM teams to deliver scalable financial platform capabilities that improve customer value, retention, and expansion.

  • Own the roadmap for core financial platform infrastructure, including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Unit of Measure (UOM), and Budget Code Attributes that power Procore's cost management ecosystem.

  • Lead product development for self-performing financial workflows, including Rules of Credit and Productivity Tracking, ensuring labor, production, and field productivity data flow seamlessly into budgeting, forecasting, and change management tools.

  • Collaborate closely with the Resource Management team to align labor planning and resource allocation with financial tracking and reporting experiences.

  • Develop deep customer understanding of self-perform GCs and specialty contractors, translating workflows across budgeting, labor cost tracking, ERP integrations, and financial operations into product strategy and decisions.

  • Drive beta programs from closed beta through general availability, coordinating cross-functional execution across budgeting, invoicing, direct costs, change management, and platform infrastructure teams.

  • Use qualitative customer insights and quantitative product usage data to prioritize roadmap investments, validate solutions, and improve customer outcomes.

  • Evangelize the financial platform and self-perform product vision across stakeholders while balancing customer needs with long-term platform scalability and infrastructure strategy.

  • At Procore, AI isn't a specialized tool, it's a core competency. We expect every team member to be AI-literate, leveraging generative tools and agentic workflows to move faster and work smarter. You won't just use AI; you'll be building the agentic future of construction.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Management role, or equivalent experience in a GTM, solutions, or customer-facing role with demonstrable product thinking and discovery depth

  • Experience contributing to the delivery of products to market with a customer value-driven approach, with an interest in platform or data infrastructure features

  • Genuine curiosity about how construction businesses operate - particularly self perform contractors, specialty contractors, or similar field-operations-heavy businesses - and the drive to develop deep domain expertise quickly

  • Comfort operating across a wide engineering surface area - this role touches many teams simultaneously and requires strong cross-functional coordination without losing context or dropping threads, including close collaboration with the Resource Management product team on labor cost integration

  • Strong ability to work with go-to-market teams, including solutions specialists, engagement managers, and revenue enablement, to surface customer insights and drive field alignment

  • Experience building cross-functional partnerships across Product and Revenue teams that drive successful outcomes

  • Strong analysis and synthesis skills, demonstrating the ability to break down complex financial workflows into components that are then structured into systemic, platform-level solutions

  • Strong listening and communication skills; Product Management is equally about inquiring as it is advocating - this role requires someone who asks "why" before acting and seeks to understand root causes, not just surface symptoms
