Production Operator - Encapsulation - First Shift

Our team includes Encapsulation Operators and a Lead or Senior Operator, and we work closely with Supervision, Quality, and Maintenance to support Novonesis' purpose through reliable and consistent production.

The Role & Your Impact

As an Encapsulation Operator, you play a key operational role in ensuring capsules are produced safely, accurately, and to specification. Your work directly impacts product quality, regulatory compliance, and overall production efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating encapsulation equipment in accordance with approved SOPs
• Monitoring production processes to ensure consistent quality and GMP compliance
• Accurately documenting production activities in the production journal
• Identifying and communicating process or equipment issues to the team
• Supporting safe, efficient, and compliant daily operations

What You'll Need to Be Successful

• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to read and follow a production journal to produce batches accurately
• Ability to use basic hand tools (e.g., hammer, screwdriver, wrench) for equipment assembly and disassembly
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers regarding production status
• Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts, including metric weight and volume conversions
• Experience with Lock Out Tag Out procedures

Additional Skills & Interests We Value

• Previous experience in a GMPregulated manufacturing or production environment
• Willingness to learn new processes and equipment
• Comfort working in a teambased production setting

Ways of Working / Working Conditions

• Work location: Onsite
• Work hours: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Physical requirements: Standing for most of the workday
• Work environment: Powdery materials, machine and air noise
• Temperaturecontrolled production area

Compensation & Benefits

• Expected base salary: $19.00 per hour
• 401(k) with up to a 9% company contribution
