This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency. The Technician I, Production Technical Operations (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for handling technical tasks in production operations, including setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.

Specifics Include:
* Handle specific technical tasks within production technical operations to support efficiency
* Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment
* Ensure products are manufactured according to specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
* Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods
* Monitor output quality to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
* Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis
* Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations for alignment with business objectives and drive operational excellence
* Adhere to GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate documentation
* Ensure rigorous quality control and complete all required training
* Meet individual job requirements and contribute to organizational compliance
* Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

* Work Hours: 2nd Shift - 9 Hours (3:00 PM-12:30am)

* Location: Onsite
