Your Opportunity: Taylor Promotional Products (TPP)is looking for highly motivated andhigh-energy Business Development Associate to join their team! The Business Development Associate will work closely with the Business Development Managers, VPs of Sales, Subject Matter Experts, and other company leaders. This position is focused on assisting in strategic selling specifically of our Ready Set Gift direct brand.

Work Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage demand generation pipeline, proactively marketing and reacting to new business opportunities in the market
  • Communicate with ideal customer profiles (ICPs) via outbound phone calls, networking, email, marketing campaigns, social media and video to create awareness for Taylor
  • Achieve and exceed performance objectives
  • Analyze insights to develop sales activity plans and customer engagements while watching market data and reacting to industry trends
  • Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
  • Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of all solution sets while articulating the value proposition to decision-makers across financial services, insurance, retail and manufacturing industries
  • Provide baseline research within assigned accounts to identify key contacts and other critical information prior to communication

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or 1+ years in sales preferred
  • Willingness to learn, listen to feedback, and ask questions
  • Proactive, conscientious, self-motivated, and goal-oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • A courteous and professional demeanor
  • Persistence, determination, and patience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software

The anticipated annual salary for this position is $60,000 plus the opportunity to earn commission. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
