What You'll Do:

This role performs routine reviews, audits evaluation and analysis within the expense management system. As part of the Finance Group, you will support departmental initiatives focused on process improvements and gaining efficiency, while maintaining a constant focus on supporting the growing businesses within the Aerzen USA Group.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Work within expense management system (Concur) to ensure timeliness of completed expense reports, proper coding of T&E expense, and run & analyze monthly expense management reports.
  • Within expense management system, develop functional reporting, hierarchy structure, and expense grouping.
  • Train and assist employees with all aspects of T&E, including navigating the expense management system.
  • Audit monthly expense report to ensure company guidelines are maintained
  • Supports month-end close via reconciliations, posting of entries, and review of records to ensure proper and timely posting.
  • Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
  • Support improving accounting processes through simplification and automation.
  • Partner with external partners and functional teams as appropriate.
  • Reviews and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of generally acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
  • Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.
  • Provide backup to key Finance areas AR, AP & Accounting, providing coverage due to illness, PTO or unusually high demand.
  • Support Management with ad hoc reports.
Requirements

Education:

College Degree preferred and/or equivalent job experience

Area of Study:

Accounting or Finance

Experience:

0-2 years' experience

Specialized Training:

Previous experience with expense management system (i.e. SAP Concur) preferred

Other:
