Job Title: Hospitality Technician - Cook Location: Chestertown, MD 21620 Duration: 12 Months Please Note: This is a cook position This is a private corporate environment, preset menus, preplanned meals - this is a not a restaurant type environment. Potential contract to hire position Valid driver's license is needed Reliable Transportation is required HS Diploma preferred Hours: Shift work dependent on guests. Morning and Evening Shifts (start and end times may vary). 15-40 hrs/week Job Description: Supports customer service teams in hospitality area. Candidate must be able to prep and prepare meals per scheduled shift. Meals to be prepared for guest counts ranging from 12 to an occasional 200 people. Candidate must be able to decide appropriate quantities to prepare as well as serve the meals in a timely manner. Candidate must help maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment. Individual must have attention to details, team work attitude, ability to lift, push, pull up to 30lbs., ability to reach, kneel and bend. Individual must also maintain a professional attitude, flexible work schedule and be reliable. In addition to cooking the candidate must be willing to job help with housekeeping duties such as cleaning guest rooms, overall general cleaning, restocking, etc. Sample Day: Prepare meal, tidy kitchen prior to next shift coming in. When housekeeping - cleaning rooms (complete turn overs and/or stay overs), general cleaning of facility, restocking coolers. Each day varies by the needs of the guests and facility.
