Driver, Pasha Logistics

Job Summary
The Driver operates a commercial truck to transport cargo safely and efficiently between warehouses, freight stations, or other locations using dry vans, flatbeds, or other over the road equipment.

Primary Objectives

• Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Deliver and pick up loads on time while maintaining safety standards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to support operational efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Transport cargo between warehouses, terminals, customer sites, rail yards, or other locations as directed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and submit Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) as required.
• Verify that loads are properly secured and safe for transport.
• Maintain accurate and compliant driving logs and trip records.
• Record equipment movement on driver's street sheet.
• Obtain signatures for pickups and deliveries as required.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatch for instructions and updates.
• Replenish fluids such as oil, fuel, and radiator coolant when necessary.
• Follow all company safety policies and work rules.
• Comply with federal, state, and local commercial driving regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (HSED) required

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and acceptable driving record required
• Current Medical Examiner's Certificate required
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential preferred

Work Experience

• 1+ years' experience as a Commercial Class A driver required

• Ability to safely perform job duties.
• Ability to qualify as a commercial driver under all applicable state, federal, and local regulations.
• Ability to effectively communicate with dispatch, managers, and co-workers.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic truck maintenance.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Working Environment
This role requires work that may involve the following environmental conditions:

• Freight warehouse facility, office, outdoor yard and lot, and workshop settings, where hot, humid, cold, and other inclement weather conditions may occur.

You will receive a commission-based pay rate of 29.5% of the linehaul rate earned by Pasha Logistics for every shipment you move (but in no event less than $16.90 per hour)
