Job Description

What is the opportunity?

Embedded within the Marketing, Brand and Creative team to lead event design execution and support cross-channel marketing initiatives through high-quality creative deliverables. Creates and delivers timely and accurate information through the web, social media, and other communication channels, with appropriate editorial style and voice. Applies complete knowledge, skills, and practices to perform assignments.

Design and produce event branding, environmental graphics, and marketing collateral that create memorable brand experiences and drive engagement. Translate strategic briefs into polished, on-brand assets across events, presentations, print, and digital channels while managing complex workflows through Workfront.

What will you do?
  • Design comprehensive event branding systems: stage graphics, signage, environmental displays, digital screens, branded materials, and experiential elements
  • Work independently to develop designs and modify existing designs as needed for digital and print.
  • Collaborate with marketing partners to determine vision, strategy and requirements for visual elements.
  • Pitch creative visions and ideas to internal stakeholders and incorporate their feedback to grow and develop a project to completion
  • Conceptualize and execute designs from start to finish for marketing deliverables outside of brand templates, such as events or specific campaigns.
  • Serve as design expert for the Seismic platform, supporting Creative Team knowledge and skill development, and liaising with the Digital Marketing Team to provide creative direction on platform templates.
  • Work collaboratively to improve existing processes, creating solutions to create efficiencies.
  • Adhere to processes for documentation and archiving of digital material.
  • Monitor and meet project deadlines as assigned.
  • Partner with marketing coordinator on creative briefs to clarify scope, timeline, and deliverable requirements
  • Provide feasibility feedback on requests to optimize workflow and advisor expectations
  • Document specifications and asset management for consistency and reusability
  • Flag scope creep, timeline conflicts, or compliance concerns early
  • Support in mentoring contract designers on execution standards, brand guidelines, and process efficiency
  • Support in reviewing contract designer work for quality, consistency, and compliance before delivery
  • Support in building reusable templates and design systems to accelerate throughput
  • Contribute to design process improvements that reduce bottlenecks or enhance advisor experience

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 10+ years graphic design experience in financial services, marketing, or agency environment
  • Event Design Expertise: Proven track record designing for live and virtual events with portfolio demonstrating environmental graphics, event branding, and experiential design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), presentation software, web design tools
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating client-facing collateral work at scale
  • Ability to balance high volume with quality; comfortable working in fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of print production, digital optimization, and brand compliance
  • Excellent communication with cross-functional stakeholders (advisors, marketing, compliance

The expected salary range for this particular position is $55,000-$95,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.

You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
