Overview

A fast-growing, family-owned ecommerce brand is hiring a Paid Media & Growth Specialist to drive the next phase of profitable growth. The company designs rugged, vintage-inspired gear and giftable goods for people who love the outdoors, fixing things with their hands, and well-made everyday carry essentials.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants clear ownership and a direct line from their work to real revenue. You'll be the primary owner of day-to-day paid campaigns across Meta and Google, turning creative ideas into high-performing ads, testing quickly, and using data to decide what to scale and what to cut. You'll work closely with the founders and a small, collaborative team, so your input will meaningfully shape how the brand shows up online and where marketing dollars go.

If you've been running performance campaigns in an agency or in-house role and you're ready for more autonomy, less red tape, and a brand with a strong, outdoorsy point of view, this role offers a chance to step into a visible position and grow alongside the company as it scales.

What You'll Do

  • Run and optimize day-to-day paid media campaigns across Meta and Google, with potential exposure to additional channels over time.

  • Monitor key KPIs including return on ad spend, efficiency, traffic quality, and revenue contribution.

  • Partner with leadership to support campaign planning tied to launches, seasonal moments, and broader growth priorities.

  • Use GA4, ad platform dashboards, Shopify, and ecommerce reporting tools to identify trends and recommend practical next steps.

  • Help evaluate landing pages, site experience, and conversion flow to identify improvements that support stronger performance.

  • Collaborate with internal creative partners to test messaging, visuals, and content that improve paid media results.

  • Support influencer and UGC efforts by helping organize workflows, coordinate creator activity, and identify opportunities to improve paid performance.

  • Share campaign insights and recommendations clearly with stakeholders across the business.

  • Contribute to broader ecommerce growth conversations by bringing ideas, spotting opportunities, and helping the team make informed, data-backed decisions.

Who You Are

You are a performance-minded marketer who cares about results, not vanity metrics. You enjoy seeing a direct connection between the campaigns you run and the revenue they drive.

You have hands-on paid media experience, especially in Meta, and ideally bring working knowledge of Google Ads as well. You like testing ideas, learning from the data, and making thoughtful adjustments quickly.

You do not need a large team or layers of approval to do your best work. You are energized by small, entrepreneurial environments where decisions happen quickly, priorities are clear, and your work has visible business impact.

You are organized, accountable, and proactive. You are motivated by growth, profitability, and the chance to help build something meaningful over time.

This Role Is Great For Someone Who

  • Has hands-on paid media experience in an agency or in-house environment where performance and revenue matter.

  • Wants more ownership and visibility than they may have in a larger or more layered organization.

  • Enjoys working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial company where ideas can be tested and refined quickly.

  • Likes being close to the business and collaborating directly with decision-makers.

  • Is excited by the opportunity to grow with a company and take on more responsibility over time.

Qualifications
Required

  • 2-4+ years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns, with strong experience in Meta Ads.

  • Working knowledge of Google Ads and comfort navigating platform reporting and optimization tools.

  • Experience in ecommerce, DTC, performance marketing, or growth marketing environments.

  • Familiarity with Shopify and basic conversion rate optimization concepts.

  • Experience using GA4 and related dashboards to interpret performance and identify actionable insights.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect campaign activity to business outcomes.

  • Clear communication skills and confidence sharing recommendations with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and stay focused in a lean, high-growth environment.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting emerging consumer or ecommerce brands.

  • Familiarity with influencer marketing, UGC workflows, or creator partnership coordination.

  • Experience contributing to testing plans, creative iteration, or repeatable paid growth systems.

  • Exposure to retention, loyalty, or lifecycle marketing concepts.

What You'll Gain

  • Real ownership in a visible role where your work directly impacts revenue and profitability.

  • Close collaboration with founders and decision-makers, with the chance to contribute ideas and influence strategy.

  • Hands-on exposure to paid media, ecommerce, conversion thinking, and broader growth marketing.

  • The opportunity to grow with the business as the company continues to scale.
