As a Security Officer Access Control in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will help manage access control, verify badges, monitor entry points, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $20.90 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential checks, and/or visitor and contractor entry protocols at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or receiving areas to help to deter unauthorized access, verify approved access permissions, and document arrivals and departures as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site policies and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or policy violations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Assist with screening deliveries, vendors, and/or transport personnel, maintain accurate access logs and reports, and communicate professionally with site contacts regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
