Security Officer - Badging Coordinator

As a Security Officer Badging Coordinator in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a leading aero and defense location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, support badge processes, and help maintain a professional environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, screening protocols, and security-related policies at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, process visitor access, and report discrepancies in accordance with post orders and client guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas and restricted access points, to help identify unusual activity and policy violations.
• Prepare routine reports and maintain accurate activity logs related to access events, incidents, inspections, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
