As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic transportation location where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support security-related procedures for travelers, visitors, and staff. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, employees, and/or vendors by following site-specific access procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a transportation location.
• Monitor entry and restricted access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report irregular activity, unauthorized access attempts, and other security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response procedures as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, terminal-adjacent areas, and perimeter locations to help identify issues and support security-related operations.
• Maintain detailed logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate clearly with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
