As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and assigned security-related duties at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual conditions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required, and support compliance with location rules, visitor processes, and restricted area protocols.
• Prepare clear, timely, and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and pass-down communications to support ongoing security-related operations and/or shift awareness.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
