This role blends *back office clinical duties* with *front office patient-facing responsibilities*, making it ideal for an adaptable MA who thrives in highvolume environments. You'll play a key role in patient flow, clinical support, and front desk coverage-ensuring patients receive efficient, highquality care from checkin to checkout. *What You'll Be Doing* * Check patients in and out efficiently in an urgent care setting * Take and document vitals accurately * Triage and log patient information into the EMR/EHR system (NexGen or similar) * Verify insurance and patient demographics * Cover the front desk as needed while supporting back office workflows * Assist with both clinical and administrative duties to support patient care * Maintain accurate documentation and comply with HIPAA standards *MustHave Skills* * 1-2 years of experience as a *Medical Assistant* * *Experience with front and back office responsibilities* * *EMR/EHR proficiency (NexGen strongly preferred)* * *Triage and vitals experience* * *Strong understanding of healthcare workflows* * *Ability to multitask in a fast-paced urgent care environment* *NiceToHave Skills* * Urgent care, ambulatory, or outpatient experience * Appointment scheduling experience * Bilingual in *Spanish* * *Strong patient service and communication skills* *Schedule* * *3 O 12Hour Shifts Per Week (36 Hours Total)* * *Urgent Care Evening Shifts*, ending as late as *11:00pm* * *Schedule provided in advance; days may vary based on clinic needs* * *Ideal for candidates seeking fewer workdays with fulltime hours* *Why Join Us* You'll be part of a *HighVolume Urgent Care Environment* where flexibility, teamwork, and patient care come first.
