Cottage Cheese Operator - 3rd Shift

JOB SUMMARY

Kemps has immediate job openings for well-versed machine operators to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. A few job responsibilities include setting up and sanitizing equipment, operating filler and all related packaging equipment, filling totes, filling bulk sour cream, blending flavor ingredients, palletizing, cleaning of pumps/floors/walls, and other duties as assigned. Cover breaks and other employee absences. Machine operators will be responsible for processing finished or raw materials, while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 11:00PM - 7:00AM (8 hour shifts)

Job Duties include: Operating all equipment related to both Cottage Cheese #3 filler and #7; operating all equipment involved in packaging line; cleaning all filling equipment, pumps, motors, blending equipment, floors, walls; filling out records and reports; supplying the line with cups, lids, and other supplies; operating other packaging equipment when Cottage Cheese line is not running; other duties as assigned.
