Responsibilities:

The Senior Sourcing and Contracting Manager is responsible for strategic planning, sourcing, and contract management across all enterprise purchased services, with a strong focus on highimpact service categories, supplier performance, and stakeholder satisfaction. You will proactively identify opportunities to improve operational outcomes, reduce total cost of ownership, forecast service utilization, evaluate new service requests, manage expiring contracts, and ensure that a standardized sourcing and value-optimization process is consistently applied to maximize value for PHS.

This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to guide critical thinking, strategic planning, and consensusbuilding among operational leaders, service line executives, and key stakeholders. You will provide enterprisewide coordination to drive standardization, alignment, and performance improvement across all purchased services categories.

You will also manage new service requests, conduct industry and market research, coordinate pilot programs, and collaborate with senior leaders when assessing organizational needs or communicating decisions. This role significantly influences enterprisewide initiatives, supports senior executive leadership, drives cost savings and quality improvements, mitigates risk, and ensures compliance with PHS policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and contracting for purchased services across the PHS enterprise.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational outcomes, reduce costs, and forecast supply and service utilization.
• Manage the full sourcing and contracting process, including analytics, stakeholder engagement, RFIs/RFPs, evaluations, and recommendations.
• Draft, negotiate, and implement contracts, including supplier conversions and new product/service rollouts.
• Oversee new product and service requests, conduct industry research, and coordinate pilot programs.
• Ensure standardization and alignment of purchased services across the enterprise.
• Support enterprise costsavings, quality improvement, and riskmitigation initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with PHS policies and procedures while supporting stakeholder satisfaction and operational excellence.

• CMRP, CPSM CHPSS certifications

Remote: Open to remote applicants in the United States, except for the following states: California, Illinois, North Dakota, New York, Ohio, Washington and Wyoming

Hybrid: In office expected for individuals within 60 Miles of Albuquerque every Tues, Wed, Thurs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required (an additional 6 years of experience may substitute); MBA preferred
• 5 years of experience in healthcare supply chain or related industry
• 5 years of experience in purchased services analysis, negotiating, contracting, purchasing, or legal contracting, with the ability to lead both tactical and strategic negotiations
• Strong healthcare purchased services knowledge, including pricing structures, and revenue/margin impacts
• High proficiency in financial analytics and datadriven decisionmaking
