Energy Transfer/Sunoco is a master limited partnership that owns and operates one of the largest and most diversified portfolios of energy assets in the United States. In total, the Company owns and operates approximately 150,000 miles of natural gas, crude oil, refined products, and natural gas liquids pipelines, terminals, and acquisition and marketing assets which are used to facilitate the purchase and sale of crude oil, natural gas, natural gas liquids, and refined products. This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2026. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027. Position SummaryThe IT Terminal Automation Intern will support PLC and control system initiatives within terminal operations. This internship provides hands-on exposure to industrial automation, terminal management systems, and control technologies that support operational efficiency, safety, and compliance. The intern will work alongside experienced automation professionals on active projects involving PLC systems, hardware testing, documentation, and system troubleshooting. This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Industrial Technology, Computer Engineering, or related technical disciplines. Key Responsibilities
