Cash Poster (Remote - Healthcare) Pay: $22-$24/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week Hours: First shift (8:00 AM-4:30 PM) with some flexibility Location: Fully Remote (Equipment Provided) Contract Length: 120 days (with potential for extension or conversion) About the Role We're seeking an experienced Cash Poster to join a fastpaced healthcare revenue cycle team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the accurate and timely posting of highvolume patient and insurance payments while collaborating with billing teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure clean reconciliation. This is a fully remote opportunity supporting a nationally distributed team. What You'll Do * Accurately post high volumes of patient and insurance payments, adjustments, and refunds using electronic files, paper remittances, and credit cards * Reconcile payments daily against remittances and batch totals; maintain balancing spreadsheets * Identify billing, coding, or reimbursement issues and escalate as appropriate * Support branch and internal teams with questions related to payment application * Maintain detailed cash application reports and documentation * Ensure strict confidentiality and full compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations * Meet productivity and quality benchmarks while working independently in a remote setting What You Bring * High school diploma or GED required * 2+ years of cash applications experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical billing environment * Handson experience working with EOBs and payer remittances * Comfortable managing high volumes of cash posting and daily balancing * Proficiency using a 10key and Microsoft Office (Excel required) * Strong attention to detail, organization, and timemanagement skills * Excellent written and verbal communication * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fully remote environment Nice to Have: * Experience with Waystar or Arrow billing software Work Environment * Fully remote team; department leadership is based in New York * Companyprovided equipment * Quiet, dedicated home workspace required Why You'll Love This Opportunity * Competitive hourly pay ($22-$24/hour) * Medical, dental, and vision benefits * Paid time off and retirement planning options * Continued education opportunities * Life insurance and employee discounts * Strong potential for internal growth-many contractors are considered for longterm or permanent roles Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Downers Grove, IL.
