Head of Cash Management and Funding

Job Description:

Internal Title: AVP, Corporate Cash Management

Location: Charlotte, NC | In-office

At Pacific Life, we're investing in experienced leaders who want to make an impact. We're seeking a AVP, Corporate Cash Management to lead enterprise cash management, liquidity, short-term funding, banking, and payment operations across a complex, regulated organization.

This highly visible leadership role offers the opportunity to strengthen and modernize critical Treasury capabilities while partnering with senior leaders across the organization.

How you'll help move us forward

• Lead daily cash positioning, liquidity management, cash forecasting, working capital, and intercompany funding.
• Develop and execute short-term funding strategies, including our $2B+ Commercial Paper program, $9B FHLBT lending program, and two $500M repurchase programs.
• Oversee short-term investment of surplus cash in partnership with Investments, balancing liquidity, return, and counterparty risk.
• Lead banking relationships, bank account governance, payment operations, and connectivity across SWIFT, APIs, ACH, RTP, and wires.
• Strengthen Treasury controls, SOX/ICFR compliance, cyber resilience, and operational risk management.
• Drive automation and modernization across cash forecasting, payments, reporting, analytics, and Treasury Management Systems.
• Build and develop a high-performing team while partnering with senior leaders and external financial institutions.

What you'll bring

• 10+ years of Corporate Treasury experience within a large, complex organization, including 5+ years leading teams.
• Deep experience in cash management, liquidity, short-term borrowing and investments, banking, and payments.
• Knowledge of borrowing facilities, counterparty risk, ICFR, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with banking connectivity and Treasury Management Systems such as FIS Integrity, Kyriba, or SAP.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation required (or required to be obtained in the first 6 months)
• Strong executive communication, analytical, leadership, and change-management capabilities.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry preferred.

Base salary range: $210,000-$ 260,000

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
