The Opportunity

Sr Manager Content

This role owns product content, establishing governance, standards, and a single source of truth to ensure consistency and accuracy across all platforms. It leads the strategy, implementation, and optimization of PIM/DAM systems, while overseeing technical writing and end-to-end content operations to drive efficiency and quality. Additionally, the position defines and delivers technical training programs, managing instructional design and enabling internal teams and partners with effective learning solutions

Key Responsibilities

Content Governance & Ownership



  • Serve as the enterprise owner of product content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across all platforms
    * Define and enforce content governance standards, including taxonomy, structure, and lifecycle management
    * Maintain a "single source of truth" for product information and digital assets across systems and channels


PIM/DAM Strategy & Platform Management



  • Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for PIM and DAM platforms (e.g., Akeneo, Bynder)
    * Design and optimize product data models, asset structures, and system integrations
    * Manage external vendors and third-party developers to ensure performance and scalability
    * Lead the Technical Content Architect function and drive continuous improvement of content systems


Technical Writing & Content Operations



  • Lead and develop the Technical Writing team, establishing standards, templates, and best practices
    * Own the end-to-end content creation lifecycle, from intake through publication
    * Establish centralized content operations to improve efficiency, consistency, and reuse
    * Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy and alignment


Technical Training & Enablement



  • Define and lead the technical training strategy for internal teams and channel partners
    * Manage the Instructional Design team and oversee development of training programs
    * Partner with external vendors for technical training content and delivery
    * Define curriculum, delivery methods (digital, in-person, hybrid), and training materials scope


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Technical Writing, or related field
    * 7+ years of experience in content management, PIM/DAM systems, or technical enablement within HVAC, building technologies, or industrial B2B
    * Experience leading technical writing, instructional design, or content operations teams
    * Strong expertise in content architecture, data governance, and digital platforms
    * Proven ability to manage vendors and influence cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed organization
    * Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills

Recruiting Range
$150,000 -$175,000 USD
