Requisition ID req36242 Working Title Facilities Services Tech Position Grade 07 Position Summary The Biology Department is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to perform a wide range of facilities services tasks. Those tasks include duties associated with carpentry, painting, ceiling tile replacement, floor tile replacement, cabinet and countertop replacement throughout the buildings. Repairing aging facility needs, and promotion of continuous improvements in departmental safety and environmental practices. A major facet of the position is a high level of customer service as established by the Facility Operations Manager and the Department of Biology. The qualified Facilities Services Technician will interface with Biology faculty, staff, students, and the general public to identify and resolve a variety of facility issues in the Department. ****The final salary for this position is dependent upon total Education and Experience**** See the Position Description for additional information. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications
