Over view
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master II to support Agile delivery teams by fostering a Lean-Agile mindset, improving delivery predictability, and enabling high-performing, self-organizing teams. This role plays a key part in guiding teams through continuous improvement, effective backlog management, and cross-team collaboration in a scaled Agile environment.

This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week onsite in Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation & Execution

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support scaled Agile events such as cross-team planning, dependency management, and inspect & adapt sessions.
• Promote transparency through effective use of information radiators and team metrics.

Planning & Backlog Management

• Partner with Product Owners and teams to prepare quarterly, release, and sprint plans.
• Ensure backlog readiness through refinement aligned to Definition of Ready.
• Maintain healthy backlog flow and support short- and mid-term planning for releases.

Team Coaching & Enablement

• Coach teams toward self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Foster psychological safety, collaboration, and trust within teams and stakeholders.
• Help teams resolve interpersonal challenges and improve overall performance.

Delivery & Stakeholder Alignment

• Identify and remove impediments by working across teams and leadership.
• Track and manage cross-team dependencies and risks.
• Communicate delivery progress, gaps, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Shield teams from disruptions to maintain focus and productivity.

Metrics & Continuous Improvement

• Leverage flow-based and Agile metrics (cycle time, throughput, WIP, etc.) to drive insights.
• Facilitate data-driven discussions to improve delivery outcomes.
• Encourage experimentation and incremental improvements.

• 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Strong experience with Scrum, Kanban, and Agile scaling frameworks (SAFe preferred).
• Demonstrated expertise in Kanban flow metrics (cycle time, WIP limits, throughput, flow efficiency).
• Proven ability to coach teams and build high-trust, high-performing environments.
• Experience working in scaled Agile environments with cross-team coordination.
• Strong communication skills in virtual environments (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Information Technology or related field).
• Must be based in the Atlanta, GA area and able to work onsite 2 days/week.

• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
• Experience with metrics-driven delivery and systems thinking.
• Exposure to spec-driven or design-first Agile transformations in enterprise environments.

• Work Authorization: USC or Green Card holders only (No H1B).
• Location: Must currently reside in the Atlanta, GA area.
• Onsite Requirement: Minimum 2 days per week (may increase based on team alignment needs).
