Job Title: Inbound Customer Service Representative & Outbound Collector

Location(s): Ankeny, IA
(Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage outbound collections for an assigned portfolio of customers with delinquent accounts.
  • Contact customers to secure payment and resolve past-due balances.
  • Negotiate and establish payment arrangements.
  • Escalate complex disputes or high-risk collection issues as needed.
  • Perform credit limit reviews and assessments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Territory Managers, General Sales Managers, and Order-to-Cash teams.
  • Participate in and/or lead monthly conference calls with field teams.
  • Track and document all collection activities and account interactions daily.
  • Meet quarterly performance targets (e.g., DSO reduction, past-due balances, 90+ day aging, unapplied cash).
  • Support inbound service levels as needed.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid model available after completion of training.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong customer service and collections experience.
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations and negotiate effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
  • Comfortable working with performance metrics and targets.
