Summary:

The Project Manager - Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for leading and overseeing large-scale, complex projects and programs with significant organizational impact. This role serves as a strategic leader and primary point of accountability for project execution, ensuring alignment with mission objectives, contractual requirements, and stakeholder expectations.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary projects or programs
• Serve as the primary interface with senior leadership, government stakeholders, and customers
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with strategic goals
• Develop and manage integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
• Oversee project performance, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and quality requirements
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Familiarity with cybersecurity, systems engineering, or IT programs is highly desirable

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10-15+ years of project management experience, including leadership of large, complex programs
• Must have a Tier III Level Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Program Management Professional (PgMP) or equivalent
