Description The client is seeking a midlevel System Administrator to support its regional server infrastructure across both U.S. and Mexico operations. This role focuses heavily on Windows Server administration, VMware virtualization, and managing core datacenter systems while assisting with ongoing infrastructure projects. The System Administrator will act as a Tier 2 escalation point for advanced troubleshooting and will also proactively monitor and maintain systems using enterprise tools. While the team is primarily remote, the ideal candidate will be local to the Murfreesboro, TN area to support occasional onsite work and handson training. Top Skills Details 1. Strong Windows Server administration experience (configuration, best practices, troubleshooting) 2.VMware virtualization expertise (nearly the entire environment is virtualized) 3.Active Directory management (user management, group policies, domain services) 4.Basic networking knowledge (routing fundamentals, understanding of how systems integrate with network infrastructure) Additional Skills & Qualifications -Experience with backup solutions and monitoring tools -Familiarity with security practices and SOCrelated alerts -Exposure to Meraki or Cisco networking -Understanding of virtualization best practices beyond VMware -Ability to support hybrid onsite/remote work and collaborate with a distributed team Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Murfreesboro, TN.
