About the Role

The Delivery Manager helps transform quarterly business priorities into clear, sequenced, and executable plans across an assigned business domain. This role ensures that commitments are realistic, execution stays on track, and cross-team dependencies are effectively managed-ultimately strengthening delivery predictability and enabling high-quality outcomes.

Plan and Sequence Delivery Work
  • Translate defined outcomes into actionable execution plans.

  • Validate readiness, capacity, and dependencies before commitments.

  • Support prioritization across feature work, technical debt, and platform improvements.

Lead Execution Across Teams
  • Coordinate work across product, platform, architecture, and analyst groups.

  • Track progress and surface risks or blockers early.

  • Ensure delivery artifacts stay aligned with execution reality.

Manage Dependencies and Risks
  • Identify and mitigate blockers and cross-domain constraints.

  • Facilitate timely decisions to keep delivery work moving.

  • Maintain transparency into issues impacting timelines.

Drive Continuous Improvement
  • Identify systemic execution challenges and recommend enhancements.

  • Support standardization of delivery practices across domains.

  • Improve predictability and flow of planning and execution cycles.

Provide Clear Stakeholder Visibility
  • Communicate status, risks, and decision needs clearly.

  • Ensure compliance with Fairfield standards and training requirements.

What We're Looking For

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field preferred.

  • Relevant certifications in Project Management, Program Management, Agile delivery, or related disciplines are a plus.

Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, delivery management, program management, or related cross-functional execution roles.

  • Experience operating within structured planning and execution cycles (e.g., quarterly planning).

  • Demonstrated success delivering initiatives tied to measurable business outcomes.

  • Experience working across product, platform, and architecture teams in enterprise environments.

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong delivery planning, sequencing, and execution management skills.

  • Ability to translate business outcomes into structured, executable delivery plans.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers.

  • Skilled at facilitating tradeoff discussions and accelerating decisions.

  • Working knowledge of enterprise applications, platforms, and business processes.

  • Ability to operate in dynamic environments while maintaining execution discipline.

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and delivery management tools.

  • Critical thinking and structured decision-making.

  • Ability to coordinate and align multiple teams toward shared goals.

Estimated Rate of Pay:

$123,500.00 - $132,600.00

This position is exempt; the range above reflects annual salary.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:

* Pay range is a calculation based on a midpoint price. Fairfield complies with all wage and hour laws, including minimum wage and salary exempt requirements.
