Worldwide Incentive Compensation (WWIC) is the team at Microsoft that is responsible for the design, implementation and operations related to the sales and incentive plans across all of Microsoft, impacting more than 40,000 employees. The Seller Experience team within WWIC is a dynamic, collaborative team thatis responsible for effectively landing messages around key incentive compensation initiatives. The team ensures sellers have the information they need to understand their incentive compensation plans and opportunities for additional earning. The Sales Compensation Manager - Communications will be creating detailed content for use by sellers and the functions that support them, including help desk and operations. You will develop a deep understanding of the business, operations, and incentive plan structure, and partner with stakeholders to develop support communications, training, and content for sellers on incentive compensation plans. Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field AND 5+ years experience in compensation, business management and operations, finance and analytics, human resources and people analytics, marketing, or sales strategy OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualificaitons
3+ years experience working in a matrixed organization, preferably in the technology industry.
1+ year(s) of project leadership/management experience.
Experience in communications and content development.
Experience distilling complex information into stories and messages that can be easily understood Sales Compensation IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
