Job Purpose

Work across teams on L+G (Landis+Gyr) applications such as command center, Meter data management system (MDMS) which receives outages from field AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) meters, storing and analyzing data in azure cloud and snowflake for reporting purposes, transferring data to outage management system(oms) via JMS queues and mule for effective outage management. Collect and analyze load disaggregation data from AMI meters typically 15 mins interval consumption power kWh and reactive power kVAR from residential and commercial meters. Electric Vehicle (EVs) charge management to help reduce the impact of EVs on peak load growth. Collect and analyze EV load disaggregation data from Revelo meters to increase accessibility and reduce costs compared to managed charging on EV and charger data. Install Sense EV edge app on Revelo meters utilizing L+G App Marketplace and National Grid App Manager to collect charge session data and store in Sense cloud to be used for analysis. Facilitate collaboration with team and stakeholders to identify Program increment priorities based on business needs. Deliver commitments set at program increment plan. Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate upward on escalations to get necessary support. Support program increment planning event, co-ordinate team planning sessions, present planning outcomes in business partner check-ins and final readouts. Define business requirements, develop user stories, define acceptance criteria. Oversee Agile IT team backlogs to ensure continuous alignment with organizational strategy and prioritize delivery of high value features and solutions. Implement AMI intake process to help ease the effort to record and prioritize business requests from various external stakeholders to AMI portfolio. Align with broader Program Management Office, Business Process Engineering and Information Technology teams to meet program milestones and regulatory commitments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in IT, Business, Electronic Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-bachelor's degree experience in a related occupation required. The position also requires: 3 years experience working as a Product Owner/Lead in an Agile delivery team; 3 years experience working in large transformational programs; 3 years experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum, KanBan, SAFe; and 5 years experience in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint), Sharepoint, JIRA, JIRA Align, and Confluence. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report/appear into/at the National Grid USA Service Company, Inc. offices in Waltham, MA. $142,085 to $142,085 per year
