SUMMARY: The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor for the New England Patriots is responsible for ensuring the accurate, efficient, and safe receipt of all food and product deliveries across NEP Operations. This role verifies purchase orders, inspects incoming products for quality and compliance with health department standards, and manages PAR levels across FOH, BOH and NEP. The Supervisor maintains accurate inventory records and collaborates closely with the Executive Chef, Head Dietician, vendors, Finance , NEP staff, and Operations leadership to ensure all products and equipment meet organizational and regulatory standards. This position also supports loading dock operations, including receiving mail and packages and coordinating dock flow during peak event times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive all incoming goods and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming items for freshness, temperature compliance, packaging integrity, and overall food safety; reject non-compliant products and coordinate returns or credits with vendors.
- Properly label, store, and rotate all products using FIFO and in accordance with organizational standards.
- Maintain real-time inventory accuracy by immediately documenting receipts, returns, adjustments, and product movements.
- Utilize Fourth/Adaco for daily invoice entry, product transfers, requisitions, and purchase order verification.
- Monitor and track purchase orders, shelf life, expiration dates, product usage trends, and potential shortages; promptly communicate needs or issues to Chefs, NEP staff, and leadership.
- Develop and maintain in-season and off-season PAR levels for FOH and BOH to support consistent ordering practices.
- Identify recurring stock issues or supplier inconsistencies and escalate as needed.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records to support audits, financial controls, and operational accuracy.
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant storage, receiving, and dock areas.
- Safely operate warehouse, shipping, and receiving equipment.
- Coordinate daily delivery schedules and deliver products to designated culinary, NEP, or service areas in an efficient manner.
- Assist with receiving and routing mail, packages, and small-parcel deliveries.
- Support loading dock operations, including vendor coordination and managing truck flow during peak periods.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and operational standards.
- Perform special projects and assignments as business needs dictate.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of shipping and receiving experience in a food & beverage, hotel, hospitality, or stadium environment.
- Experience with Fourth/Adaco or similar inventory management platforms preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and health department regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret invoices, purchase orders, and delivery documentation.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deliveries simultaneously.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including professional vendor interaction.
- Ability to identify raw, fresh, frozen, and finished food products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
