The Role:

Our Logistics Coordinator will perform duties assigned to
meet efficient supply chain management. Ensuring the flow of raw materials and
final products from suppliers to retailers and customers. Performs
and participates in the efficient handling of customer orders,
documentation, shipping, including exports and associated administrative
functions related to processing orders.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare
    and manage shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs
    paperwork, export documentation and invoices.
  • Prepare
    paperwork and properly label freight prior to shipping
  • Coordinate with carriers and suppliers, arranging pickups and tracking shipments to their destination.
  • Maintain
    sales records and provide appropriate information for
    finance.
  • Address
    delays, damage, or shipping errors promptly and effectively, submit &
    resolve claims with transportation providers.
  • Participate
    in resolution of credit problems and invoice discrepancies.
  • Ensuring
    adherence to transportation laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • May
    be required to cross train
    and demonstrate competency in all essential job
    functions of the department working at different workstations as
    production needs require.

Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years of customer service or related experience required; GED or High School Diploma is preferred.
  • Proven working experience with effective verbal and written communication.
  • Proven working experience in freight, exports, and billing is a plus, not mandatory.
  • Proficient working experience with a computer and/or Microsoft Suite.
  • Comfortability with organizational skills and prioritizing workload.
  • Strong
    verbal and written communication skills for interacting with sales, carriers
    and customers.
