About the Position

Lenovo is seeking a Marketing Director to lead marketing strategy for the International Sales Organization (ISO). This role will define and drive the end-to-end marketing strategy for Lenovo's cross-business group solutions, enabling sales growth and advancing Lenovo's transformation to a solutions-led company. As a strategic leader, you will own the holistic marketing plan across strategy, messaging, demand generation, sales enablement, and lead management, ensuring alignment between Lenovo's global portfolio strategy and ISO sales priorities. This position is remote with a 10% traveling expectation.

Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Transformation

  • Define and lead the global marketing strategy for ISO, aligning messaging, demand generation, and sales enablement to support Lenovo's cross-business group solutions and growth priorities.
  • Drive marketing initiatives that support Lenovo's ongoing transformation toward solutions-led selling and integrated portfolio value.

Customer Journey & Demand Generation

  • Develop strategies that influence the full customer buying journey, using insights and analytics to identify propensity to buy and optimize demand generation programs.
  • Establish performance frameworks that connect marketing investments to pipeline creation, conversion, and revenue impact.

Sales Enablement & Lead Lifecycle

  • Lead development of solutions sales enablement that equips sellers to articulate Lenovo's differentiated value and accelerate customer engagement.
  • Own the lead management strategy and process, ensuring alignment between marketing and sales to improve lead quality, pipeline visibility, and conversion.

Global Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with business groups, geo marketing leaders, and ISO sales leadership to deliver integrated marketing programs at global scale.
  • Lead through influence in a highly matrixed environment, mobilizing cross-functional teams and shared resources to deliver business outcomes.
  • Identify gaps and advocate for incremental investment, building business cases to scale successful programs and capabilities.
  • Build strong cross-organizational relationships to drive alignment, execution, and measurable business impact.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Strategy, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of global experience leading marketing, strategy, demand generation, or sales enablement within a technology organization
  • Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end marketing strategies that drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing, customer buying journeys, and demand generation models

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years of global experience leading marketing, strategy, demand generation, or sales enablement within a technology organization
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across multiple business groups, geographies, and executive stakeholders
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives and marketing programs at scale
  • Exceptional ability to operate with an entrepreneurial mindset, driving impact in resource-constrained environments through influence, prioritization, and creative problem-solving
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of ownership, business acumen, and ability to operate effectively in complex global organizations
  • Outstanding executive communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities
  • Ability to visualize, craft and articulate complex concepts into actionable plans
  • Ability to present to large groups and Executives utilizing MS Office (PowerPoint)
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect strategy to execution
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external partners
  • Strong written and spoken presence
  • Ability to grow and manage global teams across B2B marketing, strategy, demand generation, or sales enablement
  • Cultural Competency working across Chinese, American, Desi, European, and South American cultural contexts, ensuring messages are communicated with clarity and tact
  • Advanced Degree preferred (MBA)

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $180-200k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. This position is remote with 10% travel.
