We currently have an opening for a Senior Production Control Planner in our Clarksburg, MD office. This position reports to the Director of Production Planning and Scheduling.

Responsibilities




  • Organize and plan work orders to support internal and external demand.
  • Track work order shortages and communicating with purchasing and manufacturing any shortfalls.
  • Coordinate production flow with stockroom, procurement and manufacturing group when scheduling work orders.
  • Process pick batches for shipment of product.
  • Work with Quality Department on the disposition and scrapping of defective material
  • Track work order variance; close work orders.
  • Communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Complete task and training as assigned by management.
  • Follow TDSI manufacturing production flow.
  • Understand TDSI systems and processes and grow in competency with SAP S4/Hana.



Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Bachelors degree in applicable field preferred- such as Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or Manufacturing Technology. Will also consider those with 5 years of directly related Production Planning experience.
  • Preferred 10 years of experience in manufacturing or related field. Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience in a production environment required.
  • Detail oriented and excellent time management skills.
  • Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint); SAP S/4 Hana preferred.
  • Able to work independently with a self-motivated work ethic.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive demeanor in order to interact with a variety of positions and levels within Thales as well as visitors.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace, complex environment and effectively multi-task to meet demands.
  • Excellent English verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
  • Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.



The annualized pay range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000 along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 5%. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the experience level for the role described above. TDSI considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
