Job Description

The AI Transformation Manager leads the strategic adoption and implementation of artificial intelligence across the organization to drive business value, operational efficiency, and innovation. This role bridges business strategy, technology, and change management by identifying high-impact AI opportunities, guiding cross-functional implementation, and ensuring responsible and scalable deployment of AI solutions. The AI Transformation Manager partners with business leaders, data teams, and technology stakeholders to embed AI capabilities into core processes and enable a culture of data-driven decision-making

Key Responsibilities

  • AI Strategy & Roadmap
    • Identify and prioritize AI use cases aligned with strategy and measurable business outcomes
    • Develop and maintain an AI transformation roadmap across business units
    • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and trends to inform strategic initiatives
  • Program Leadership
    • Lead end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives from concept to deployment
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams including data, engineering, IT and business stakeholders
    • Partner with data governance to establish frameworks for AI initiatives, including ethical AI and risk management
  • Business Integration
    • Translate business problems into AI-enabled solutions
    • Partner with business initiative leads to re-design processes that incorporate AI capabilities
    • Ensure AI solutions deliver measurable ROI and operational improvements
  • Change Management & Adoption
    • Assist in driving organizational change to support AI adoption
    • Develop communication, training, and enablement strategies to build AI literacy
    • Promote responsible and effective use of AI tools across the organization
  • Performance Measurement
    • Define KPIs and success metrics for AI initiatives
    • Monitor performance and continuously optimize AI-driven processes
    • Report progress, impact, and insights to executive leadership
  • Governance & Responsible AI
    • Ensure AI initiatives comply with regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards
    • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and security teams on AI risk management
    • Establish frameworks for model governance, transparency, and data stewardship

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in technology, data, analytics, digital transformation, or consulting roles
  • 3+ years leading data, AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional transformation or technology implementation programs
  • Experience working with data science, engineering, and business teams to deploy AI solutions

    • Ability to navigate ambiguous problem contexts and identify relevant solutions through a structured process
    • Ability to identify high-value opportunities for AI-driven innovation
    • Comfortable working in ambiguous and rapidly evolving technology environments
  • Technical Understanding
    • Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, generative AI, data platforms, and analytics tools
    • Understanding of model lifecycle management and data governance
    • Familiarity with AI platforms and cloud ecosystems
  • Strategic & Business Skills
    • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
    • Ability to translate business challenges into AI opportunities
    • Experience developing transformation roadmaps and business cases
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication
    • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
    • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment
    • Experience building AI literacy and adoption within non-technical teams
  • Program Leadership & Collaboration
    • Proven experience to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
    • Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Telecom experience
    • Understands wireline telco financials and drivers
    • Familiar with telco operations and associated KPIs
    • Understanding of US fiber market

Physical Demands & Work Conditions

  • Primarily office-based work performed indoors from a home or company office, while operating a computer and other office productivity machinery such as copy machine and printer
  • Occasional travel is required
  • Occasional weekends in support of program launches
