Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions, including recurring journal entries, month-end account reconciliations, and GRIR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt) reconciliation. Research and analyze general ledger account variances to support financial accuracy and insight. Manage the Fixed Asset process for the site including CER, oversee fixed asset accounting, and generate reports for users. Lead inventory reconciliations and inventory count processes, including tracking open purchase orders, conducting monthly inventory reporting, and supporting materials forecasting. Provide proactive analysis and support to the finance team, including KPI and shipment reporting (BOL tracking and creation), ad hoc data requests, and project work. Maintain SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance documentation, support ongoing SOX compliance initiatives, and provide required materials for internal and external audits. Collaborate within the accounting center to support team work load and ensure timely, accurate completion of tasks.
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 3+ years of accounting experience is required. Experience with Oracle and/or OneStream is helpful. Proficient with all Microsoft Office products. CPA or CMA preferred but not required. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities. Able to present information and respond to questions from individuals at all levels of our multi-faceted organization. A collaborative teammate and self-starter who is looking to grow professionally. Ability to travel quarterly to our Millington, MD location (applicable to candidates hired at alternate locations).

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $76,000.00 - $141,100.00
