ABOUT THE JOB:

This analyst will assist in the development and management of functional dashboards, collections performance management, functional and cross-functional training and development, and assist in the onboarding of acquired businesses relative to receivables and collections pipelines.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Development and management of functional dashboards, and KPIs
  • Manage/maintain performance data and analytics to support KPIs, team and individual performance management.
  • Lead functional and cross-functional training and development in conjunction with the departmental Systems Analyst.
  • Perform forward-thinking productivity reporting and analysis.
  • Regularly perform ad-hoc analysis as required.
  • Help to drive process improvements and various projects within Credit & Collections environment.
  • Assist in the analysis and boarding or newly acquired business (acquisitions)
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other departments to gather necessary data to conduct analyses, as described herein.
  • Assist in the development and analysis of the forecast and annual plan for collection KPIs (Days Sales Outstanding, Cash Collections, Past Dues) and the quarterly/annual budgeting process.
  • Perform financial benchmarking for Credit & Collections by analyzing current and past due trends in Key Performance Indicators.
  • Develop and execute training for new and existing staff.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology or similar course of study
  • Prior experience with financial modeling and forecasting
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Briefly outline the specific skills and abilities necessary to perform the job.
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Works well in collaborative / team environment
  • Communicate clearly: both verbal and written with a professional demeanor
  • The ability to use technology as an enabler
